We recently spent a few extra dollars on a nice set of watercolors, and I can’t tell you what a difference it has made! These Artist’s Loft watercolors work so well especially when you’re used to the underwhelming grocery store watercolors with the tiny flimsy brushes! I will tell you that we will never go back. For less than ten dollars, you get a better selection of colors, and the pigment is so rich that it doesn’t take a lot of effort for kids to really feel like they’re painting. For me, the clean up is so easy with these compared to paint!
We have been using this new set so much and trying out different project ideas. These circles were a lot of fun!
We used two different sized lids to trace circles with a black crayon onto heavy white paper. Then, let the painting begin!
This is a fun way for the kids to test out all of the colors in one simple colorful project. This one will definitely keep your kids occupied (screen-free!) for a good while!
