After spending the day Saturday at the Texas Christkindl Market, I have to say, we really enjoyed it! The German food was amazing, the kids’ activities were awesome, the music was great, and the vendors contributed to the authentic feel. As someone who has traveled through Germany, I thought the Christkindl Market was a very respectable and well-done event with HUGE potential for the future. Our daughter loved the snow playground and gingerbread house decorating the most, followed by the Santa Haus and the food. (We had the strudel, German mac n cheese dumplings, and potato pancakes… To. Die. For.) As parents, we loved those things and also really liked the setting there at the ballpark. I also loved that this event is really unique and offers something different, which is hard to find these days.
This was actually the first gingerbread house we had ever done, and it was so much fun! This was a highlight of the experience for our daughter!
Shopping at the Texas Christkindl Market is so much fun! It is a great place to find quality, unique gifts. I highly recommend shopping for your Christmas tree ornaments here! There are so many talented vendors, and their handcrafted products are beautiful.
The snow playground was a huge treat for all of the Texas kids!
The Texas Christkindl Market has several rides available, including teacups and a carousel.
