If you’re short on time or not your usual creative self, here is an easy last-minute Christmas gift idea for teachers, neighbors, friends, or co-workers. The best part is: the kids can help and you can finish them quickly! As someone who has been a classroom teacher, I love a simple, practical (and sweet!) gift!
First, make a list of neighbors, teachers, co-workers, and friends, and count the number you will want to make.
Stuff the bottoms of the jars with burlap, tissue paper, or basket paper shreds.
Sprinkle your Hershey Kisses, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, or other wrapped candy on top.
I cut out circles of burlap to use on the tops of the jars. Then, I cut little cards out of cardstock and folded them. I wrote messages inside and holepunched the top corner. Then, I used brown twine to tie the cards onto the jars and finished them with a bow!
This is such an easy project for even young kids to help with! Then, it’s time to deliver them!
Happy crafting, and Merry Christmas!
