DIY Christmas Tree Ornaments and Salt Dough Recipe

December 22, 2015 by intentionalmomma Leave a Comment

In case you missed it, a few years ago, I made my first batch of salt-dough with our then-toddler. It was such a fun project that kept her occupied for hours! Since we hadn’t done it since, I figured it was high time we took this project to the next level!

Using flour, salt, and water, we mixed the ingredients in a mixing bowl. This is a great opportunity for little ones to practice measuring and stirring, and this part in itself is tons of fun for them, so no need to rush through this part!

5. Cut desired shapes. Use cookie cutters if you have them! Cut holes for ornaments.

Once they’re dry, you can hang them on your tree, or attach to a simple candy jar gift!
