Through Boulder Moms Connect, I recently had the pleasure of meeting Dayna Orton, a stay-at-home mom who recently started her own massage therapy practice. Located in the Longmont and Niwot areas of Northern Colorado, Blooming Massage offers services such as aromatherapy hot stone massage as well as therapeutic massages including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, reflexology, pre- and post-natal massage, injury rehabilitation massage, trigger point therapy, and sports massage.
Blooming Massage: Restoring Health Naturally Through Therapeutic Touch.
Our Mission is to enhance and sustain your quality of life by providing massage services. Relaxation and pain relief will be priorities during the massage including specific work on areas of stress or injury. Each massage session is contoured for each client. It is my hope that, after each session, you will leave feeling noticeably better, more relaxed, and ready to engage the day with positive energy. Regular therapeutic massage contributes to sustained good health and increased function.
I was so lucky to receive a 60-minute therapeutic massage from Dayna at Blooming Massage! When I walked in, Dayna warmly greeted me and we briefly discussed the tension in my back before the massage began.
First off, let me tell you that it has been at least a year since I’ve had a massage. For special occasions, my husband regularly gave me gift certificates for one-hour hot stone massages back in Texas. And I had a few other Swedish massages here and there. But the thing about Dayna at Blooming Massage was that she really focused on trigger point therapy, which I had never experienced, but I loved! Since I’m always toting a toddler in addition to typing and doing housework, I had a lot of tension in my back, neck, and shoulders. The tension resulted in knots, and Dayna worked her magic! The environment was so relaxing with soft music and sounds of a waterfall.
Blooming Massage is taking Northern Colorado by storm! If you visit her website, you can view her homework videos for stretching between massages. One of the coolest things is that Dayna will offer amazing specials on her Facebook page! Like her page and have the opportunity for great discounts and deals. She also offers a frequent massage card for those of us who like massages on a regular basis.
Dayna, a Hawaii native, is part stay-at-home-mom and part massage therapist. One of the things that impressed me most about her was that after being unable to find a traditional job, she went back to school in the evenings in Denver so that she could open her own massage therapy practice! I find that very inspirational!
What sets Dayna apart is that she is extremely nice, very professional, and well-versed in various methods of massage, in addition to offering some unique specials to help you save money! With the holidays quickly approaching, give the gift of Blooming Massage!
